Delivering fast, high resolution output

Up to 47 pages per minute, the bizhub A4 monochrome range produces speedy, high quality documents up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. High speed colour scanning so that processing high volume double-sided documents from various workflows is conducted easily and efficiently, thanks to the reverse automatic document feeder. A generous paper capacity of up to 2,300 sheets means that busy environments can benefit from greater productivity and workplace efficiency without interruption.

Low typical energy consumption (TEC) value scores and require lower energy usage that meets world class ENERGY STAR compliance standards. Minimal energy consumption with a low 3.6 Watts when set in Sleep Mode*.
Carbon neutral toners are made from biomass materials. These toners are designed to reduce the amount of toner required to produce high quality images, due to its uniform particle size. Compared to the conventional pulverised toners, manufacturing of Simitri HD toner requires less energy and temperature by up to 10 degrees.
ADVANCED DATA SECURITY FEATURES

Built-in authentication

Based on servers such as Active Directory, this lets you permit or restrict the use of bizhub functions. Even if your network has no server, the bizhub’s own built-in authentication system allows you to set privileges for copying, printing, scanning and faxing for each individual user.

HID Card Authentication – The AU-201 H and AU-202H HID Card Readers let you use familiar HID proximity cards for fast, secure access to bizhub printing, copying, scanning and faxing— and support Windows Active Directory integration via PageScope Enterprise Suite for simplified authentication and account tracking to increase productivity and decrease costs.

Secure Printing – You can set a password as a security lock for important documents that you don’t want others to read. Protected documents cannot be output until the user enters the password at the control panel ensuring that they are received and read only by the intended person.

Copy Protect – When a document is either printed or copied, the bizhub A4 monochrome range printers offers a selection of concealed security watermarks such as “Confidential” that identifies the printouts as reprints. To deter copying by unauthorised personnel, the watermark becomes visible upon re-copying the document.

Print from your smart phone or tablet device through Konica Minolta’s Application, PageScope Mobile. PageScope Mobile is compatible with the Konica Minolta’s printer range and enables mobile work environments to print and scan documents with their mobile device.

USB drive capability for on-the-go printing directly via USB

Comprehensive file compatibility for greater workplace flexibility. Supported file formats include PDF/A, compact PDF, tiff, jpeg and xps. Converting hard copies to digital files can be done on a range of end destinations such as HDD, email, PC (SMB) FTP/WebDay and USB.
Designed with an OpenAPi structure*, these devices are compatible with most third-party applications and can be embedded on the device so that tailored applications and workflows are integrated with the device.
